Preliminary Designs
2-D: Gargoyle Reflection. March 6, 2013.
1. I think one of the good parts of my gargoyle is the ears because they go with the theme but are also the emphasis.
2. I think I could have done a better job with details because there isnt much to it. There isnt like any details so I could have done better with texture.
3. My project looks like a pig from the top, but has ears that are almost wolf like. The emotion is that it is smiling, and is a happy pig.
4. Its about as big as my fists put together, and the general form is round. I chose it to be like that because Mr. Purdy said so.
5. I have some warm colors like pink and red but also blue because I thought the pink went with the pig theme and the rest was just random.
6. I learned that with projects that when you plan things they can change. You can apply that to life because not everything turns out the same.
7. I didn't plan anything, I just kind of went for it. I had a challenge with deciding what it should look like and what exactly I was making. The whole idea of what I was going to do changed multiple times because I am very indecisive and it looked weird how it was. Steps are that you get clay, make a pinch pot and then just go for it.
8. I think that it isnt a worthwhile project because I didn't like it as much as I thought I would because of the way everything was formed and I didn't want one.
